Kia ora, and mabuhay. Nanam is a Filipino function venue in Takapuna, on Hurstmere Road, a few minutes from the beach. We are a one-hatted restaurant in the Cuisine Good Food Guide 2026. We host Christmas parties, corporate dinners, birthdays and weddings, for 12 guests or 100.

Christmas 2026

December dates are going fast. Seated set menus for your team, canapes and grazing boards if people would rather stand and mingle, or the whole restaurant to yourselves.

Tell us your date, your numbers and roughly what you have in mind. We will come back with options and a price, and we will be straight with you about what works and what does not.

Your space

Your group	Where you are	How it works
12 to 35	The Exclusive Room	Seated. The Feast Menu or our lunch menu
36 to 60	The Exclusive Room, extended	Seated. The Feast Menu or our lunch menu
61 to 85	The whole restaurant	Seated, spread across the restaurant rather than one long table
Up to 100	The whole restaurant	Standing. Canapes, grazing plates and food boards

Sixty is our maximum for a seated group in the Exclusive Room. Above that we close the restaurant to the public and the whole place is yours. Fewer than 12? Get in touch and we will find you a good table.

Dates and minimum spends

When	What you get	Minimum spend
December, Friday or Saturday	The Exclusive Room	$3,500
Tuesday to Saturday	The entire restaurant	$10,000
Sunday or Monday	The entire restaurant	$4,000

Taking the whole restaurant on a normal trading night means we close to the public, so the minimum is $10,000. On a Sunday or Monday we are already closed, which is why the same thing costs $4,000. If your date is flexible, that is the best value we offer by a long way. Menus from $85 per head. A $500 deposit holds your date and comes off your final bill.

What you will eat

Salo-salo Feast, $85 a head. Three tapas, two mains, two sides and dessert. Minimum four guests.

Grand Salo-salo Feast, $95 a head. Five tapas, three mains, two sides and dessert. The extra tapas are the blackfoot paua and prawn lumpia and the crispy cauliflower bravas, and the extra main is the fish of the day. Add a welcome glass of prosecco, wine, beer or calamansi iced tea spritz on arrival for $10 a head. Minimum four guests.

Canapes and grazing boards. Food that circulates while people stand and talk. The one for large groups.

We also build custom menus. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free and halal are all catered for, and our chicken, beef and lamb are halal certified. Tell us at least 1 day before so we can plan it properly.

Drinks, your way

We will build a drinks list with you before the night. Some groups keep it to beer, wine and non-alcoholic and leave spirits off, which keeps the cost predictable. Others run an open tab for a set time. You tell us the shape of it, we will give you one price to work with, and we take care of the rest.
